Ένα από τα συστατικά του Γκουαρανά είναι η ξανθίνη, μία φυτοχημική ουσία που έχει ως παράγωγα την θεοβρωμίνη και την θεοφυλλίνη. Αυτά τα παράγωγα έχουν έντονη διεγερτική και αναζωογόνα δράση.

Guarana is a climbing plant of the Amazon, very popular with people in the region due to the stimulus provided by the fruit.

What are the active ingredients?

One of the components of Guarana is xanthine, one phytochemical substance as derivatives of theobromine and theophylline. These derivatives have a strong stimulant and refresher action.

It also contains tannins that help in the secretion of adrenaline and polyphenols that neutralize free radicals, help to anti-aging and generally act as antioxidants.
Other derivatives of Guarana are methylxanthines substances containing nitrogen, stimulate the muscles and reduce the feeling of fatigue.

It is a safe product?

Guarana is a natural source of caffeine especially popular with athletes who have to increase their performance. It is a safe product, but as with everything else you should avoid over-consumption. If you are sensitive to caffeine or any other health issue you should consult your doctor.
