The L-carnitine in the product comes from two sources: L-carnitine L-tartrate and acetyl-L-carnitine. Acetyl-L-carnitine is an active compound, the acetic acid ester of L-carnitine.

In addition, *zinc contributes to the normal metabolism of fatty acids and to the maintenance of normal testosterone levels in the blood, while **chromium contributes to the maintenance of normal blood glucose levels.
